Shortened Job Title
Lyndon is a hard working guy in his company. One day, the chief of the board of his company called him into his office to tell him the good news. Lyndon was being promoted to Vice President of Corporate Research and Planning.
Of course, he was excited and proud, but that didn’t stop him from asking for his new title to be changed to Vice President of Corporate Planning and Research.
The chief looked at him and asked; ”Why?”
”Because,” Lyndon said, ”Our organization uses shortened job titles, and I don’t want be known as vp of crap.”
