The physical training educater Colonel O’Brien was drilling a battalion of soldiers.
“I want every private to lie on his back, put his legs in the air and move them as though he were riding a bicycle,” Colonel explained. “Now begin!”
After six minutes, one of the soldier stopped.
“Why did you stop. Buchwald?” Colonel O’Brien asked.
“If you please, sir,” said Buchwald, “I’m freewheeling for a while.”
